I have a son named Taytem who is 14 years old. We also have a Pomsky dog, named Luna.

Even if you take the same space and layout, how different it can look based on the finish selections.

Each project is different and so are the reasons why homeowners do them. Some homeowners want to remodel to fit their family size and lifestyle better. While for other projects, homeowners want to change the design style of the home to better reflect their taste. It is rewarding when a project is completed and the homeowners are happy with the results.

If I am not working on my own home improvement projects, I am thinking about the next project. My son likes to go rock hunting and we visit different areas to look for fossils or unique stones.

I grew up watching my parents build their careers and rental properties in their spare time. My dad still works in finance and will retire soon. My mom is a former news producer, anchor, and station GM. After retiring from the news she became a Sales Consultant to utilize her GC license for a home improvement company in La Crosse. My sister is a Travel Nurse for Mayo Clinic. I have a long-haired wiener dog, Alfy, who is unemployed and loves to play ball.

I love talking with homeowners about their vision and how to make a home truly feel like their own.

The ability to connect with homeowners. Homeowners are deeply passionate about projects they’re considering taking on. Listening to a homeowner discuss their goals for a project and provide them with solutions on how to get the results they’re looking for is very rewarding.

Spending time outdoors. Hiking, skiing, spending time at the lake and with my dog. I enjoy cooking, reading, spending time with friends, trash reality TV, and managing my fantasy football team to victory every year.

While I don’t do the hands-on work, I really enjoy how each project has its nuances and challenges. These differences influence the way I go about completing my side of projects, from working with suppliers to creating & innovating on warehouse processes.

What drives me the most is seeing the internal processes used for projects that I have created or am a part of succeed. Alongside that, being there to support our field people, as well as our office staff is a rewarding experience.

Currently, I’m a student at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, and that takes up a fair amount of time. Besides that, I enjoy spending time in the gym and playing ice hockey anywhere I can find open ice.
